"Not like I could get out of this bed anyway. I couldn't even stand if I wanted to," I said. "The doctor said that any movement will be helped until I heal." I sighed and left it at that for now, I don't need him thinking about how much I needed him now, and not just emotionally or because I had a baby, but because I physically can't take care of myself or the baby. The nurse came in again, "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting but I need to see if the baby needs a new diaper," she said. I nodded and hand her to the nurse which she took her to the table across the room. I watched her quietly.
