Seth got in the back and once we all buckled I took off towards the nearest shelter.

I smiled and sat quietly in the car softly taking ur hand in mine

I smiled softly as we were quiet until we got there.

I smiled when he reacted excited and I smiled more. "Now when we are in there be very calm and very gentle a lot of these animals are scared and very unsure of what's going on and why they are here so please stay calm and let them come to u." I said softly and seriously.

"Ok dad," he said. "Some of them may not be nice either so please be careful when you touch the cage," I added as we parked and got out. "Ok," he said again.

I got out and smiled softly. "Now if we get one this is cana be your responsibility and daily chore to feed and give daily fresh water as well as give walks to every day. But its also your choice as to what we get within reason of course." I said softly.

"Ok, that sounds fair," he replied as we went inside and told the worker what we were here for.

I smiled as I followed behind letting him c the dogs and I left u to look ahead and c which I thought would be a good combination for our family.

I walked with Seth as he was slow looking in. He smiled at all the dogs.

I smiled as I walked back up to u. "What u think kid?"

Be knelt in front of one of the cages. There was a small little puppy inside asleep that appeared to be a dalmatian which was just old enough to be getting spots. "I want to see that one that's sleeping," he looked at us. "I'll go ask about it," I said and went back to the front desk.

I smiled softly "very energetic choice." I said smiling

He smiled at him. The worker came out to see who were talking about. "That one is a rescue. They found her in an abandoned house. Her family was gone so she's all we found. Let me see if she'll wake," the worker said and opened the cage which cause the pup to look up tiredly. Seth smiled more as she was up and came out to sniff him. "We've given her shots and checked her for any sickness. She has had surgery recently to fix a wound she got while in the house so that's the main thing to watch for. But she's behaved well with us," she said. The puppy let Seth pet her and she playfully nipped his fingers.

I smiled as I watch them "don't let her bite too much I know she's trying to play but we want to stop that early if she's cana come home with us." I said softly and kneel down next to them and reach out to let her sniff me.

She sniffs his hand and licks it. "She seems sweet," I said. I knelt down to do the same. I smiled more at her. "Can we get her?" He asked. "I think she'll fit in, how about you Luke?"

"Yea I agree" I said as I softly scratched her chin with a finger.

"Alright then she's the one," I said. The worker nodded and began walking. The puppy followed us down the hall.

"Keep a close eye on her till we get a leash on her." I said softly.

"Ok," he said. I stood at the desk signing all the papers to adopt her.

Once that was done I paid the fee and smiled. As I watched Seth play with the puppy

I smiled as I watched him play. "Let me carry her to the car so we can go to a pet store for all her things" I said as I picked up the dog. She started licking my face as we went to the car.

I smiled and walked with u. "She seems like a happy girl that's for sure I already c one thing that needs to be corrected tho but not major.
