New Beginning

I hugged him softly. "It's ok. I'm just glad to have you back, and that you're not running from me."

I wasnt trying to" i said softly as i hugged back. "I just needed time to get away to learn everything i needed to stay in society. Specially learn my own strength since its enhanced quite a bit since i came into my powers fully." i said softly

"Well, the loom you gave me when the teacher said I was going to take you around the school made you seem like you were," I replied.

"Im sorry. And it was because i wasnt sure what the hell to say to you. Specially after so long" i saod softly

"I understand, I didn't know what do say to you either," I said

I noddded and sighed softly "im sorry

I shrugged, "its over now." The bell rings and I sighed, "would you mind grabbing my stuff off my desk?"

I nodded "of course not" i said smiling

"Thank you," I smiled and followed him back to the room but still 4 feet from the door.

I grabbed my bag then grabbed urs handing them to you as we walked to our next class

I took mine and we walked quietly. We got to our seats and I decided to sit closer hoping it was OK with him. I noticed some familiar glares my way once again. I shook my head then used my powers to tell him through my thoughts, 'looks like your fan club has made me public enemy number 1.' I giggled when he looks at me in surprise. 'Sorry, I should've knocked before opening that proverbial door.'

I laughed "thats because of mynew found attractiveness that pulls the oposite sex to me making my prey selection alot easier when i want to use it" i whispered

"You don't have to whisper when I do that. I can read and project my thoughts if I want to," I whispered back. "But as I said before, I am supposed to 'knock' before I do that. Meaning I'm supposed to make sure you're aware of my abilities and I have permission to invade your mind."

I smiled "its fine i don't mind" i said softly smiling

"Well it is still rude. Especially if your mind is somewhere you don't want me to see. I stopped reading them freely when I stumbled into the principal thinking of what he wants to do with his wife later that night," I sighed. "And when I saw a classmate thinking of me that way too."

"Exactly, and both of us happen to have some very beautiful creatures in us. Or creatures that make it so you can't be ugly by human standards," I said. I leaned back in my chair as the teacher starts a lesson.

But now I did notice how much he changed, and he looked so much better than he did, but his looks were only a perk. I liked him for his personality and the way he always treated me. I reminded myself quickly that he had brushed me off when I tried asking him out for just a date to the dance at school, even though we still spent the entire time together.
