Coming home

She ran away from home many years ago as an attempt to protect her friends and family. She created a rumor that she had met someone and secretly eloped with them. While it was somewhat true that wasn't the entire story. They never intended to be romantically involved and have yet to be together. That isn't to say she is a virgin though. Now she has come to see what became of her old life. Most of her friends and family have moved away, and others have died so only one remained but she wasn't sure if she could face him. Little did she know she wouldn't have a choice.

I sighed as I finally made it back to the town where I grew up for a few years. I made a stop by a local diner that I loved and ordered my favorite meal. I had learned most of those I knew were gone. All but one. Though I had many reasons to be afraid to find him because I learned that this town had a wolf pack, and I was a rogue. I finished my meal and left, but as I did I didn't realize that I was already on the packs territory, or that the entire town belonged to this one pack.

I sighed softly as i was out on a daily patrol and decided to go by a small coffee shop to get something to drink before continuing even though i was the pack leaderi still made sure to do my fair share of work

I pulled out a cigarette when I found the perfect spot to light up and stopped. I took in a long drag and exhaled. I leaned against the library I use to hang out in when I was a kid.

I sighed as i slowly walked and start moving in the direction of the library paying attention to everything around me

I was about to take another drag when some dick comes by and knocks it out of my hand. "Hey asswhole, you going to at least apologize? Those things aren't cheap," I said. He looked at me, "sorry bitch, but I don't have time to be nice." I smirked, "oh really, well neither do I then." I picked the guy up and pinned him against the library. He grabbed my hand and I realized he was a werewolf when he grabbed my hand. "Oh sweety, you're so weak I could laugh," I said. "I'm the second strongest in my pack!" He said. I lifted him off his feet. "Well I suppose that makes your pack pretty sorry doesn't it?%

I heard the commotion around the library and ran quickly to it not sure what to expect but deffinetly not her when i turned the corner "let go of him tabby" i called out seriously seriously

I looked up when I heard my name. I turned my attention back to him, "if he apologizes." He sighed, "fine, I'm sorry." I dropped him, "go home dick." He ran off either afraid of me or my old friend I couldn't say. I looked at him, "so we finally meet again. And looks like you were holding out in me buddy. Never told me you were a werewolf." I put my hand on my hip as I walk towards him.

"Was forced to become one many years ago. Before u left back then it was a well kept secret but now is alot different specially around here. Why have u returned? I thougbt u were done with this hell hole we called home?" i said softly enough but standing my ground

"I was, but curiosity brought me back, I came to see what became of everyone and you're all that's left," I said honestly. "Pack leader must be a tough job, especially since you have to kick me out of town now."

"There are some perks to the job specially if u decide to stay in town for alittle bit i might be able to bring u in for a week or 2 no longer unless u decided to join the pack. But i c no reason for u wanting to. And as my personal guest u will be treated with respect." i said sighing softly. "But thats ur choice.

"And what good would it be for me to join your boy band?" I said. I smiled at him, "ID probably get in more fights."

We have women as well bht not as many as id like to have in the pack but for one ud have our protection and atleast 50 pack members to back u up if u need it 2 u would get to choose any guy in the pack including myself to take as a bf and eventually a mate when ur ready. And 3 u get to officially come home instead of just visiting but we are planing on moving sometime in the near future so we all can get away from this place

"Really, sounds like the last pack I was in. There was on little problem all of them are dead now," I said irritably. "I'd rather not have that again."

Whats hunting u tabby?" i asked softly but seriously

"Hunters found my pack and they're following me because usually a rat knows best where to find a rat's nest, I didn't know that you had a pack though so I came here," I said.

"Its fine we will deal woth them when they come " i saod seriously "but we know theres a rat somewhere in the nest and been hunting them for the last couple days. Bc 2 many of our members have gone missing over the last 2 weeks. Either that or their getting lucky and picking us off one by one but still havnt found the nest yet.

"exactly, I think it's the latter. They think I can find your hideout and if that's the case then you don't want me in the pack. I'm sure others will make sure I can't join," I said.

They have no say bc i am the leader and they will do as i say specially since i am the strongest in the pack besides those hunters will never ever get close to u or this pack i promise" i said seriously

I smiled at him softly. "So you haven't changed in the least," I said softly. "Always with the control factor."

Part of the reason i became the leader and i saw that things were going down hill fast with the previous leader noome wanted to take control so i did" i said seriously

I smiled at him, "of course you do. You've always been that sort of person."

I nodded and sighed softly "yea i try. Kinda have to be with this group
