I sighed as I did the same slowly falling asleep

I fell asleep and the next morning I was up at 6:30 to make breakfast as always. I made toaster strudel and jam toast for Seth, then made two more jam toast with bacon, eggs, and sausage for Luke and me.

When I was finished I went to wake up Seth. "Seth honey, you have school so let's wake up," I said as I sat by him. He groaned and rolled over. I leaned in to whisper, "if you hurry now you might be able to get daddy to take you." He shot up and got dressed. I went downstairs and saw him getting his plate. "Hey you're driving him to school today."

"He can show you," I smiled as I grabbed my plate and Seth had come down fully dressed. "We having lunch at school today or do you want to with just your dad today?" I asked him. "Just dad, if its OK," he looked at him.

"That's fine What time do I need to pick you up??" I asked softly

"He eats lunch at school at 11 30. We had a half day yesterday, we get those every few Thursdays," I said.

I nod and eat quickly. "You want to go c grandma after school c blw she's doing?" I asked softly

"Yes please," he said as I sat down. We both began eating. "Seth tell him about your birthday party," I said. As he eats he goes into this extravagant party we had at the skating rink.

"Yeah, I told him that ten years is not legally an important birthday like 16 or 18 but to me it is because its double digits, and I don't know really its just a big deal," I said. My first birthday party was when I was 16 because that was the year we met.

I nodded as we all finished. I got up and cleaned the table. Seth got his things together and I check to make sure he had it all organized so he could find it, and to make sure that he had everything.

I drove him to school following the directions he gave

I pulled around and headed down the same roads I did to get there and parked in the driveway. I went in hesitating bf of it not feeling like home yet
