"My name is Waverly, but my maids call me Miss Wave, but you can call me Waverly or Wave," I replied.

I nodded softly "nice to meet you I guess your people say."I said softly and rest my back against the wall. "That was my first taste of battle since I was captured at least I didn't kill most of them but I'm sure they will be looking for the one that did it.

"Well you will be gone soon so it won't matter at all," I replied. "You just worry about this."

I nodded and sighed "they don't care they will pull any kahjiit off the streets and kill them whether they did it or not just to make an example. Of then.

"I'm very sorry about the trouble I've caused you and your people for that," I replied.

Not your fault I blame the cruelty of your people full of hate and greed for everything." I said seriously and sighed

"Well I am glad," I replied. "Now Julian and I got separated so I have no idea where he is now," I said.

"Stay here I'll be right back " I said softly before I left without your answer and you heard a loud whistle and several footsteps come up to the entrance and several words were exchanged before they left. I came back suddenly and sat down "I have some of my people looking for him they know not to harm him only to bring him here and if they do hurt him they will be hurt in return the same way so they will not touch him." I sighed softly "I know I may seem ruthless to you but I'm not I'm efficientand will not harm them without reason.

"My father is much worse," I said. I extended my leg a bit and lift the skirt to show him a lit bit of a large scar. "When I was 5 I was playing at the dinner table and when I didn't obey my father he burned my leg. I couldn't walk for several months because I embarrassed him," I said softly.

"When the time comes and I am much better than I am now I will come and get my people free as well as you if you want me to. I will not stand for such abusive people

"I don't think I could do that. I have a job here," I said and pulled my knees on again.

I nodded and sighed "your choice I will not force your decision" I said as I heard the footsteps come closer and I stepped out quietly and your gaurd entered a few mins later.

I looked at Julian as he started searching me for injuries. "I'm fine, I got a little ruffed up by some men but Drako helped me," I said. "That would have been my head if you got hurt miss."

"Don't worry as long as she's in my territory she will not come to any harm that much I promise. Just keep my ass out of the stocks or the wipping post and we will be even" I said seriously.

"I can't keep you out of it, but I can get you out of it, but you'll be home in two weeks. I'll hand a bit of gold out to all the overseers in the area to help you out. That way the healers can work and do it all at once, as long as I promise a little extra gold in the overseers pockets," I said. Just then one of my guards came, "I'm sorry I saw Julian come here and wanted to tell him that the food you purchased for his people is ready to be given out," she said. I smiled and got out. I got his part out and hand it to him. "Here you are Drako, and you must accept it because you're going to be needing it too."

I whistled really loudly again and 4 young kahjiit appeared "spread the word that I have a limited supply of food to hand out be discreet about it because we don't need the humans or trouble makers finding out have them come slowly to my tent I will serve as many as I can specially get to those that I asked you guys to contact about leaving here they will need their strength." They nodded and took off climbing buildings and running along roof tops as well as through the streets.

I smiled watching them. "They're cute," I said and looked at Drako. "I never told anyone but I've always found your people very beautiful, I understand how hard everything is for you but I've always admired your kind and wanted to be one of you," I said.

(I've decided that she is but her mother died, hence the reason she never says anything about her mom and she doesn't know about her either, but her dad will tell her eventually.)

I nodded and sighed "there is much we go through but trust me u don't want to be our kind right now. Back before your race started trapping us we were proud and very much worthy or our name and ancestors and were very strong and very beautiful but now we dont deserve the title we once held for so long.

"I think you do, but no one will see your worth while you're here," I replied.

"The only ones that do are my people that live here and know I don't care for the consequences and will fight for every inch of ground we take. That's y they call me drake of the shadow."

"I could tell that," I said. I looked at my guard, "here take this and a letter to all the overseers. Have them read it quickly, you as well so you hand the appropriate amount out to keep them quiet about what's happening," I told him as I gave him another sack of gold and a letter. He read it quickly then went off. "All you need to worry about is other guards."

"That won't be a problem if slipped from them easily enough yesterday I stayed as bait to let the cub escape." I said softly

"I meant as you hand out the food," I said. "Until its time to leave you may not know any of the guards aside from Julian."

I nodded and sighed "secrecy will be the best path. In case one of us decides to betray the other.

I nodded, "I suppose you can view it that way. But really I don't know many of the guards, Julian is my most trusted because he came to me before he ever knew me enough to know I wish to help your people. He knows others," I replied.
