I nodded and sighed not exactly sure what was going on with me when it came to her and not understanding it either it just felt right been by her side

I sighed and leaned my head on his shoulder. How could I possibly let myself go through this once again? Sure his kind has standards but he's got something of a human in him, even if I'm the half human thing here.

I wrapped my arms softly around u and held u close as ur mother finished making breakfast.

I smiled softly as she handed out the food.

I smiled as I start to eat slowly.

I eat quietly as I was thinking.

I ate as well and sighed.

I finished and sighed softly.

"U ok?" I asked as I finished and rinse my bowl out

"Yes, I'm fine," I said.

I nodded and packed our bowls away and got the horses ready before we headed out

I rode quietly next to them. I wasn't sure what I thought of, I guess I really wasn't thinking as we rode all day.

We had a short break middle of the day to stretched our legs and then got right back into riding again wanting to push a bit further before nightfall.

We were fairly close when we stopped for the night. I sighed as I sat after helping everyone making it very clear how accustomed to working like this I was not.

I laughed softly as I sat down next to u. "What's wrong?"

I looked to him with that 'I think you know' look with a hint of irritating. "I'm tired," I said shortly and laid on my back.

I shook my head "you didn't have to do all the work u did but when shown that ur willing to get ur hands dirty no matter the task around ur people it will go far trust me." I said softly as I sat above ur head "move up a little if u want to be comfortable" I said softly.

"Ok," I said and push up so I can rest my head in his lap. I smiled at him. "Thanks Drako."

I smiled and brush a few stray hairs away from ur face. "Anything for u waverly." I said softly resting my arm softly on ur chest above ur breasts so u could hold my hand if u wanted to.

I took his hand and relaxed quietly. "You two are almost the same as her father and I. Except we had no reservations with each other. We barely talked when we were together, but I can tell one or both of you have been hurt by one you loved," my mom said as she cooked. "Yeah, we've decided to keep going slow just so we can ease in and trust each other and our feelings for each other."

I nodded and sighed feeling vulnerable and not liking the feeling but I trusted this woman laying her head in my lap. I couldn't help but to trust her. But I never realized my walls had come down so quickly around her it hurt to know that the one I loved so long ago was no longer here and kind of felt like I was betraying her love for me but been with u but at the same time I new I had to move on.

"Sorry," I said to him knowing I kind of reminded him of his pain. I sighed softly. "Dinner is ready," my mom said and I sat up to get the food quietly.

I got up and got my food and softly kiss ur head as I passed u coming back "its ok I'm dealing right now."

"I know," I replied softly. At least his was real, mine was a joke but I was a princess and I knew how to be "strong" and not let on if I'm hurt. I sat there eating quietly until I finished. "I think I'm going to go to my tent, goodnight," I said as I got up to clean the bowl then disappeared into the tent.

I sighed softly as I relax and sit down not sure what I did wrong.
