"I can deal," I said and followed him inside.

I sighed as I walked up to my room on the second floor and grabbed some clothes that I always set out for myself before a mission and quickly changed before grabbing some clothing for her

I waited for him to come back with the clothes quietly.

"Here this might fit you until we can get you clothing. " I said softly as I handed her the clothes

I nod and go off to the bathroom with the clothes. I changed back and put the clothes on. I came back out. "Thanks," I said once I was in the room.

"Your welcome. Now let's go c my father I guess. Pretty sure he'd like to c who I'm protecting so ce I'm sure word has gone around already I have someone tagging along behind me

"Yeah, I wouldn't want to upset him," I said honestly and followed him out the door again.

He's pretty low key but has earned his place as alpha through his skill as a warrior but he's not easy to upset really patient which is what a leader needs to be

"My father would beat people," I mumbled. I couldn't accept this.

I shook my head and sighed. "I'm sorry no one would follow him out of pure loyalty they'd follow out of fear and eventually someone would stand up and take him down my father trhs the best he can to rule by loyalty and understanding and he has quite a big pack BC of it. He doesn't turn a lot of people away as long as they prove they can be part of the pack and not just a burden and he will give you the shirt off his back if he thought it would help but it has been a lo g time since me and him agreed on anything.

"Something is going to come along that you two will agree on," I said.

"It's been almost 8 years since we did. Since my mother died trying to protect me on my first mission." I said quietly not looking at her as a small tear fell from my eye and down my cheek something I rare did I front of anyone specially since I ddnt have any friends I had pushed everyone away when I came home

I stopped and took his hand, "I'm sorry. I know it means nothing because I am a stranger, but I am a child who doesn't have a mother either. In both cases our mothers chose their fates, so I am deeply sorry to have upset you." I watched him as he slowly looked at me and I wiped the stray tear.

I sigh softly and gently squeeze "you didn't it's just events that happened after that make me realize I never really had a chance to mourn her death and been going at full speed never really having a chance to look around and remember what's really going on in my life that's beautiful

I nodded, "we all are experiencing that."

I sighed softly "sometimes I think it's some more than others.

"It always is, that's just life though," I replied.

I nodded and sighed as I walked into my dads command center and smiled at him "the place was obliterated only one survived and I brought her back till she can find shelter of her own or if she chowed and you let her become part of the pack

I looked at him, "yes sir, I am unsure about staying but until I decide I would figure this out."

Be sighed and nodded. "You wouldn't be the first stray he brought it and probably not the last but if you prove your worth you can stay till then. For now you can stay with him till we find a suitable temp home for you" he said sofy and I nodded expecting as much

I nodded, "yes sir. I will do what I can to not be a bother to anyone."

"Good your dismissed both of you." He said and sighed as I turned to leave. "And fang just be careful" he called out as we started out the door "will do father" I said and closed the door behind us not sure what that meant

I had an idea this might have been about me but I chose not to speak. I just began to follow him out.

I sighed and walked slowly back to my home and a preppy white chick came up beside me trying to flirt hard with me. "Look Samantha I don't want anyhing to do wih you and never will so back off I don't have time or patience to deal with your shit today". " she giggled and smiled big. "Always the kidder fang so anyways" I turned to her and stopped dead in my tracks and looking at her and she could tell I was in the mood and she left. I sighed softly as I walked on. "Sorry about at she's the prep of the pack and has all the other women her age under her thumb and has been trying to be with me since he say she saw me. "

I watched the girl go off. "Well you have a lot going for you, and a lot to offer. But its still not right. Whenever you do fall in love make sure she is smart enough and strong enough to defeat her in a challenge. She would be an excellent opponent," I said and gave a soft smile at the idea. Of fighting her for no reason, or just for fun.
